The Fire Skink is a medium-sized species of scink with beautiful colouring. This form from Benin is smaller than the subspecies from Cameroon, the body is not as robust and the colouration has a greater proportion of dark colour. It is an undemanding lizard that accepts dead animal matter such as meat, canned cat food, fish, etc. in addition to insects. They don´t need UVB radiation and only need a heat lamp if we have the breeding tank in a cooler room.
