Hemiplecta malaouyi is a medium-sized species of snail from the genus Hemiplecta with a beautiful colouration of the shell and leg. It is very rare species in captivity and no breeding has been recorded. It is a snail living in mountainous areas and therefore needs a lower temperature of max. 20°C. It is undemanding for food and prefers cucumber and mushroom.
